Berger IT COSMOS GmbH was founded in 2013 followed up by Berger IT consultant UG founded in 2010. The company is providingservices for a flight simulator for training aids of a aircrew.
The simulator is running on the OS Suse Linux Enterprise 11 with realtime patch.
The simulation runs on a hardware with 4 CPUs each of 6 cores. The service includes:
- Maintenance of the middleware of the simulator
- Maintenance of the corresponding test system
- Conceptual design and implementation of testtools for simulation items of the simulator
- Support of subsystems of the simulator
The entire simulator comprises about 70 applications running on fixed cores. A particular challenge in this system is the power ofparallelism.
